Wike’s assistant makes fun of Amaechi for being an emergency Catholic Church defender due to politics

Rotimi Amaechi, the presidential running partner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has become an emergency Catholic Church defender due to politics, according to Lere Olayinka, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Nyesom Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media.

Olayinka said on his X handle that Amaechi and his supporters view everything as a chance to demand votes in front of the 2027 elections.

“Now, politics has made Rotimi Amaechi an emergency defender of the Catholic Church,” he wrote.

“Everything is seen by these fools as a chance to win votes. awaiting Pitobi as well.

In 2007 and 2011, Wike assisted him. He lost to Wike in 2015, 2019, and 2023. Who is he?

Amaechi accused President Bola Tinubu of insulting the Catholic Church in an interview with Channels Television yesterday after the President made a remark about John Cardinal Onaiyekan, the Archbishop Emeritus of Abuja.

After Tinubu met with Onaiyekan’s Catholic Bishop Conference of Nigeria at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the verbal spat began.

Concerns about the country’s situation had been voiced by the Catholic bishops.

According to Onaiyekan, Tinubu disapproved with their evaluation of the nation’s current state.

The presidency condemned Onaiyekan’s remarks following the meeting.
