Insecurity: Tinubu will announce the opening of the National Security Conference in Abuja

On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to start the National Security Conference in Abuja.

Garbadeen Mohammad, a spokesperson for Jama’atu Izalatil Bidiah wa Iqamatis Sunnah, JIBWIS, the World Muslim League, revealed this in a statement on Sunday.

He claims that concerns like kidnapping, banditry, and other problems that currently pose a threat to national security will be discussed at the gathering.

In a similar vein, the initiative supported by the Nigerian government will also discuss matters pertaining to religious unity inside the nation.

Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, would be one of the leaders present at the security conference.

Roundtables for international cooperation aimed at promoting sustainable socioeconomic development will also be part of the conference.

According to the release, “the gathering would provide a platform for participants to exchange ideas and strengthen partnerships toward achieving peace, stability, and sustainable development in Nigeria.”
