At the inauguration ceremony in Yola, Fintiri emphasised that the newly appointed chairmen must recognise that their election was not for remaining in the state capital, but for ensuring continuous physical engagement with the citizens of their respective LGAs.
“Your constituents must have the ability to access you in your locality as frequently as necessary,” Fintiri informed the council chairmen, who convened in Yola with thousands of their supporters for the swearing-in ceremony.
