Toke Makinwa, an actress and media personality, has stated that it is not desirable for women to marry in their 20s.
She claims that most women in their 20s are still figuring out who they are and don’t even know how to make better choices.
Makinwa asserted that the majority of women who marry in their 20s regret it in a recent episode of her podcast Toke Moment with reality star Tacha as her guest.
“You don’t really know yourself yet. Women shouldn’t get married in their 20s. Those who did now regret doing so. If they are being sincere, even those who are still married will tell you that they shouldn’t have rushed it, she said.
“My mum says marriage is like an institution,” Tacha, her guest on the show, continued. While those outside are eager to enter, those inside want to leave.
